Nori Hand Roll Bar
A premium temaki catering business run by a Morimoto Sushi Master finalist — taking event bookings over text message and losing deposits to no-shows.

The business
Nori is a hand roll bar and catering operation with a genuine credential behind it — the chef was a finalist on Morimoto's Sushi Master. The food was never the problem. The problem was everything around booking it.
What it was costing
Event enquiries arrived by text, Instagram DM, and phone, and got tracked in a notes app. Dates got double-promised. Deposits were collected by asking, which meant sometimes they weren't collected at all — and a catering no-show isn't a lost cover, it's a lost weekend of food cost.
The generic alternatives didn't fit. Restaurant reservation platforms price per cover and assume you're seating tables, not booking a chef for four hours. Catering hasn't got a per-cover shape.
What we built
A site that sells the catering rather than describing it, with an event booking flow underneath: date and party size, package selection, and a deposit taken at the moment of booking instead of chased afterward. Menus and gallery are editable without calling us.
The booking flow is the product. The website is just how people find it.
What changed
Enquiries land in one place with a date attached. Deposits are collected before the calendar is held, so a booked date is actually booked. And the whole thing runs on a flat monthly with no per-cover fee and no cut of any event.
